On May 23, 2024, the annual Bishkek International Financial Forum was held, organized by the Association of Banks of Kyrgyzstan. The forum was attended by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Zhaparov, who delivered a welcome speech. Representatives of financial institutions, government bodies, and international development institutions also participated in the forum.

During the BIFF-2024 forum, panel sessions were held with key themes focusing on the development of financial, payment, and governmental technologies, cashless payments, digital assets, artificial intelligence, green project financing, trends and innovations, as well as the development of Islamic finance principles.
