State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic held a meeting with representatives of a Hong Kong-based company, during which the parties discussed the mechanism and key parameters for issuing the Bank’s Chinese yuan-denominated bonds, as well as the possibility of placing them on international financial markets.
The meeting focused on the practical aspects of organizing the issuance, the specifics of accessing global capital markets, and potential mechanisms for attracting international investment into the Kyrgyz Republic’s economy.
The issuance of Chinese yuan-denominated bonds is considered a possible tool for expanding access to international financing, diversifying capital sources, and strengthening the Kyrgyz Republic’s investment ties with international financial markets.
The parties also discussed further steps to develop this area of cooperation, taking into account the requirements of international capital markets and opportunities to attract foreign investors. The development of instruments for attracting external financing is in line with the strategic objectives of State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic to promote sustainable economic growth, expand investment opportunities, and support priority areas of national development.
