On October 15, 2026, a working meeting was held between representatives of the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, led by Chairman of the Management Board Emil Takyrbashev, and the World Bank. The meeting focused on the implementation of the project “Development of a Sustainable Financing Market for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).”
During the meeting, participants reviewed the current status of the project, discussed the progress achieved, and discussed key issues arising during its implementation.
Particular attention was paid to discussing the practical aspects of the project, exchanging views with participating banks, and identifying measures aimed at improving the effectiveness of its implementation.
The meeting served as a platform for constructive dialogue between representatives of the World Bank and the banking sector, sharing experiences, and agreeing on further steps to develop sustainable financing.
