The State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and Mega Traffic Group LLC signed an agreement to finance an investment project to build a modern brick factory in the Kadamjay district of the Batken region.
Under the agreement, the State Development Bank will provide financing for the construction of a solid ceramic brick production facility with a design capacity of up to 300,000 bricks per day. The new plant will supply construction materials to the Batken region, the southern regions of the Kyrgyz Republic, and border markets.
The project is crucial for the socioeconomic development of the region. Its implementation will create new jobs, increase industrial production, strengthen the production potential of the Batken region, and provide the construction industry with high-quality domestically produced goods. The use of modern automated technology and our own raw materials will improve production efficiency and reduce logistics costs. Emil Takyrbashev, Chairman of the Board of the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, noted:
“Financing this project is consistent with our mission as a development institution. We support projects that create new industries, jobs, and generate long-term economic benefits for the country’s regions. The new brick factory will become an important industrial facility in the Batken region, will increase the production of domestic construction materials, and will contribute to the economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic.”
This project is supported as part of the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic’s strategic focus on financing investment projects aimed at industrial development, import substitution, and sustainable socioeconomic development in the country’s regions.
