On October 1, 2026, the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and ABank signed a cooperation agreement under a program to support sustainable financing for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
The agreement aims to expand entrepreneurs’ access to affordable financing for projects related to energy efficiency, clean energy, resource conservation, and other sustainable development areas.
As part of the agreement, the State Development Bank will provide ABank with financial resources for on-lending to micro, small, and medium-sized businesses. Entrepreneurs will be able to receive financing in national currency at an 8% annual interest rate for up to 5 years.
The funds can be used to purchase energy-efficient equipment, install solar panels and other systems using renewable energy sources, modernize production processes, reduce resource consumption, implement environmentally friendly solutions, develop clean transportation, and support women’s entrepreneurship projects.
The partnership with ABank is part of the State Development Bank’s ongoing efforts to develop financing mechanisms aimed at increasing the availability of financial resources for the business sector and supporting projects that meet sustainable development principles.
