On November 28, 2024, a meeting of the deputy heads of the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Development Bank of Belarus was held. During the meeting, issues of further cooperation were discussed, a Basic Agreement was signed, which is intended to act as a practical mechanism for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries. Let us recall that in August last year, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the development banks of the Kyrgyz Republic and Belarus. It should be noted that the State Development Bank has developed banking products for these purposes, the use of which will become available to borrowers in the near future. One of the products is aimed at financing Kyrgyz entrepreneurs for the purchase of goods and services from the Republic of Belarus on the basis of an interbank export loan. Also, for entrepreneurs wishing to purchase any type of machinery, equipment and vehicles from the Republic of Belarus, a product for financing international leasing operations has been developed. The State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is making efforts to achieve greater opportunities for financing domestic entrepreneurs at lower rates.
