The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic was held on April 29, where the results of 2024 were summed up.
Over the year, the Bank showed steady growth, doubled its net profit and transferred 3.7 billion soms in taxes to the country’s budget together with its subsidiaries.
All profits for 2024 will be used to pay dividends to the state.
The loan portfolio increased 9-fold, investment projects were supported, thanks to which 1,000 new jobs were created. The revenue of financed borrowers increased by 3.6 billion soms.
The Bank is actively developing “green” financing: $60 million from the World Bank will be used to support SMEs.
In addition, 5 agreements were signed with international financial organizations for about $554 million.
Under the strategic management of the State Bank, the subsidiaries, Alfa Telecom CJSC and State Leasing Company OJSC, are successfully developing.
