On May 29, 2025, the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic took part as an honorary guest in the opening ceremony of a new production line for natural sweet beverages by Shoro Company — the first of its kind in the Kyrgyz Republic. This landmark event coincided with the company’s 33rd anniversary and marked a significant milestone not only for the brand itself but also for the entire food industry of the country.
Thanks to long-term financing of 150 million soms from the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, Shoro successfully launched a project worth a total of 250 million soms, which included the purchase and installation of state-of-the-art European equipment.
A point of particular pride is that the new production line will manufacture sweet beverages exclusively from natural ingredients — with no concentrates, artificial colorings, or GMOs.
The project aligns with the core mission of the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic: to develop domestic industry, promote import substitution, and create new jobs. With the launch of the new line, Shoro has created 30 new jobs. The production capacity will reach up to 10 million liters of beverages per year, and the company aims to increase its share of the sweet beverage market to 20%.
