On January 23, 2026, a working meeting was held between the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and a delegation of the European Investment Bank.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to financing investment projects aimed at developing intercity transport infrastructure, the energy sector, and supporting and modernizing agricultural processing facilities. The parties also discussed possible financing instruments and the preparation of potential projects of mutual interest, as well as the possibility of opening credit lines for the State Development Bank.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening their partnership and continuing consultations.
