On January 29, 2026, a working meeting was held between the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
During the meeting, the parties discussed potential financing for small and medium-sized business projects, as well as general areas of cooperation aimed at supporting sustainable economic development. During the dialogue, they exchanged views on developing a joint cooperation agenda and opportunities for further expansion of collaboration. Specifically, the parties discussed possible financing instruments, as well as the possibility of opening credit lines for the State Development Bank.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening their partnership and agreed to continue dialogue and consultations on promising areas of cooperation.
