On September 24, 2026, a working meeting was held between the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Asian Development Bank mission.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current areas of cooperation, as well as the possibility of implementing joint initiatives aimed at further developing the Kyrgyz Republic’s financial market and expanding investment opportunities for the country’s economy.
One of the key topics of the meeting was the prospects for establishing a domestic rating agency. The parties exchanged views on the potential role of such an institution in increasing financial market transparency, developing credit risk assessment mechanisms, and expanding access to investment resources for domestic companies and financial institutions.
Special attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Asian Development Bank, including opportunities for attracting investment and financing promising projects. The meeting participants discussed potential areas of collaboration and further steps to develop their partnership.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in continuing a constructive dialogue and further joint work in areas of mutual interest.
